Amazing Love

Amazing love! How sweet thou are
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now have found,
That love, can show the way.

'Twas love that taught my heart to cheer,
And love my life perseaved;
How precious twas that love appeared
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis love hath brought me safe thus far,
And love will lead me home.

And when we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We'll have no less days to sing love's praise
Than when we first begun.
